OreMi
Sponsorship Opportunities
Did
you know that the OreMi Mentoring program at Family Support Services of the Bay Area provides FREE mentoring and social services to Alameda County children and families? Your support is crucial to the continued success of our program. Below are some ways you can help:
- Workplace Giving Program
- Do you work for a company that has a workplace giving program (United
Way or another payroll contribution campaign)? If so, please call us and
give us the name of your campaign manager. We'd love to work with your company
to increase awareness of the OreMi Mentoring Program.
-
Hold a Garage or Bake Sale - Get together
with your friends, co-workers, church, etc. and hold a sale to benefit
the OreMi Mentoring Program. Tell your neighbors what you're doing and
get them involved, too!
-
Sponsor an OreMi event - Providing
food for trainings and other group events can be very costly. We would
greatly appreciate your donation of food for an OreMi event, or money
to cover catering costs. As always, your donation is tax-deductible. Please
contact an OreMi representative for more information: (510) 834-2443.
-
In-Kind Gifts - Do you know anyone
who would like to donate for a good cause? Gift certificates from restaurants,
artwork by local artists, tickets to local sporting events, museums, fun
parks—these are all things that help us support our children, families,
and volunteers. Call us at (510) 834-2443, if you would like to help.
We are pleased to say that all contributors who donate to the OreMi Mentoring
Program will be listed in the FSSBA newsletter, which is circulated to
over 1,500 families and agencies throughout the Bay Area. Because FSSBA
is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, any donation made will be tax-deductible.
- These are just a few ways you can help us serve more children in Alameda County. Can you think of any others we should add to this list? Give us a call at (510) 834-2443 and share your ideas.
